Arghakhanchi Cement contributes Rs 675,000 to PM Disaster Relief Fund

Bhairahawa, Sept. 2: The Arghakhanchi Cement has extended financial assistance amounting to Rs 675,000 to support families affected by the recent Bhotekoshi flood and help with relief and rehabilitation efforts.

The amount, collected voluntarily by the employees of the Arghakhanchi Cement, will be deposited in the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, said Uddhav Karki, General Manager of the Arghakhanchi Cement.

Karki said the employees came together to contribute at a time when many families are struggling to recover from the August 26’s devastating flood.

“During difficult times, we felt that we too should do something to help those in need. The employees discussed the matter among themselves and voluntarily collected the money,” he said.

He added that this was the first time employees of the organization had spontaneously come together to raise such a substantial amount for people affected by a disaster. #rss
