Kathmandu, Sept 5: The flow of financial support for the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli flood victims is increasing.
The Prime Minister Disaster Rescue Fund and the Prime Minister Relief Fund of the Nepal government currently have Rs 11 billion 556 million 26 thousand 971 in reserve, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM).
The government has already released one billion rupees from that fund for the flood-affected areas.
The OPMCM stated that in nine commercial banks, there is Rs 8 billion 625 million15 thousand and 518, and an additional USD 1,98,37,695 has been deposited in the dollar accounts at Himalayan Bank and Laxmi Sunrise Bank.(RSS)
