EU provides 67 Tonnes of Disaster Relief Supplies

Kathmandu, Sept 10: EU Ambassador-Designate Charles Whiteley and Benjamin Seidel, Chargé d’Affaires of the German Embassy, handed over 67 tonnes of disaster relief materials to Minister Mahabir Pun today.

Germany and Luxembourg provided 61 and 6 tonnes of essential supplies, respectively, through the EU’s Civil Protection Mechanism. The materials were supplied in response to requests from the Government of Nepal, the EU delegation in Nepal said, adding, More flights carrying relief supplies are expected to arrive soon. TRN
