Former Chairperson of Council of Ministers Regmi extends best wishes on Constitution Day

Kathmandu, Sept 19: Former Chairperson of the Council of Ministers, Khil Raj Regmi, has said it is our national goal and constitutional roadmap to move towards development and prosperity with national unity and collaboration.

In his message of best wishes on the Constitution Day, 2026, today, he said preserving the Constitution as per the demand of time would be ever relevant.

Former chairperson Regmi recalled the success of the Nepali people in framing the constitution on their own through the Constituent Assembly, 2072 – as an outcome of the arduous struggle and People’s Movements waged in different time.

He wished the Constitution Day would provide us with collective power to overcome the natural disaster in unison.

Expressing grief over the huge loss of lives and property due to recent Bhotekoshi floods, Regmi empathized on expanding our own capability to meticulously tackle such disasters in the long-run. #rss
