PM Shah returns home after addressing UN General Assembly

Kathmandu, September 26: Prime Minister Balendra Shah has returned home today after addressing the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States. He landed at Tribhuvan International Airport this afternoon following his departure from New York on Qatar Airways flight via Doha. He was received by Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle, Minister for Home Affairs Sudhan Gurung and Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Khakak Raj Paudel at Tribhuvan International Airport

PM Shah had departed for the United States on September 22, leading a 14-member Nepali delegation including  Minister for Foreign Affairs Shisir Khanal, Chief Advisor to the Prime Minister, Kumar Byanjankar, Foreign Secretary, Amrit Bahadur Rai and other senior officials of the Government of Nepal to attend the General Assembly.

On the sidelines of the Assembly , PM Shah held a meeting with Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres,  Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and attended the various briefings and offical reception organized at the Permanent Mission of Nepal to United Nation, New York. TRN
