Kathmandu, Oct 8: An aircraft carrying humanitarian and relief assistance provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) arrived in Nepal today.
The assistance was received on behalf of the Government of Nepal by Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Nepal Fahad bin Mohammed bin Mnikhr.
A specialized team from KSrelief will coordinate with the relevant Nepali authorities for the distribution of the humanitarian assistance.
Minister Pun expressed gratitude and appreciation to the leadership of Saudi Arabia for the support, saying that it reflected the depth of friendship and close relations between the two countries. (RSS)
